MA Mass Relations
Master of Arts in Mass Relations (Mass Communication)

The Master in Mass Relations course started in 1991. It was restructured in 2007 and renamed as Master of Arts (Mass Relations). This course imparts interdisciplinary knowledge to graduate students from various faculties, helping them acquire job opportunities in a changing environment. It combines Media and Management skills, Social Sciences, and training courses like Soft Skills and Public Relations to develop students' personality.

Objectives
  1. To prepare students in the field of Mass Relations and empower them to offer their services in the field where the masses are involved.
  2. Mass Communication through media education – designed to avail opportunities in different fields by acquiring diverse skills. Students learn about society with different approaches, diversity, multiplicity, and mass characteristics.
  3. Social Research and its Application – includes public relations and advertising with emphasis on real-world application and current relevance.
  4. Management & Computer – covers principles and practices of management and computer science.
  5. Project Report – students submit a report on a chosen subject to gain scientific understanding of problems and solutions.
  6. Modules – equip students with skills to apply their learning in real-world opportunities across fields.
Duration of the Programme

The duration of the Master Degree Programme is two academic years. The Programme duration is divided into four Semesters.

Medium of Instruction

As per the guideline of the University, the medium of instruction for MAMR Programme is English. However, students are allowed to write their examination in Marathi also.

Eligibility

The minimum eligibility for admission to MAMR Programme is a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any recognized university. Candidates appearing for final year examination whose results are awaited are also eligible to ap.

Age

Candidates seeking admission should have completed 20 years age and must be below 40 years. This rule may be waived under special circumstances.

Seat and Reservation:

The intake for MAMR programme is 30 students.

Step 1: Fill up the Online Application form and press the Submit button.

Step 2: After submission, the next screen will show a printable version of your submitted form.

Step 3: Deposit the fees of Rs. 200/- using one of the methods mentioned below, and make note of the Transaction ID.

Bank Details

Amount can be deposited using NEFT/RTGS from any bank if a Union Bank branch is not available in your area .

Alternative 1: Draw a Demand Draft (D.D.) of Rs. 200/- in the name of Director, CSRD-ISWR, Ahmednagar, payable at Ahmednagar.

Alternative 2: Obtain a Challan from CSRD-ISWR Office and deposit Rs. 200/- at Union Bank of India, Station Road Branch, Ahmednagar.
