Anti-Ragging Committee
The University Grants Commission has reiterated the ban on ragging of learners in institutions of higher education. Students admitted to CSRD-ISWR must strictly refrain from ragging in any form within the college premises.
Forms of Ragging
Includes noisy, disorderly conduct, teasing, handling roughly, causing psychological harm, demanding acts from juniors that are shameful or endangering.
Punishment for Participation in/or Abetment of Ragging
- Cancellation of admission from the college.
- Suspension from classes and practicals.
- Withdrawal of scholarship/fellowship.
- Debarment from internal exams.
- Withholding internal results.
- Debarment from extracurricular representation.
- Suspension/expulsion from hostel.
- Rustication (1 to 4 semesters).
- Expulsion and debarment from future admissions.
- Fine up to Rs. 25,000/-.
