B.Voc. Journalism and Mass Communication
(To be implemented from Academic Year 2022–23)
📘 Course Structure
1 . B.Voc. is a three-year course with three theory and three practical courses in each semester.
2 . Each theory course will be of four credits and each credit is of 15 periods.
3 . Each practical course will be of six credits and each credit is of periods.
4 . Each period lasts clock hour .
5 . In each practical course there will be one visit to a relevant industry/institute.
6 . Special emphasis on communication and soft skills development of the students.
🎓 Eligibility
First Year B.Voc. (Diploma): Passed H.S.C. (10+2) in any stream or equivalent examination.
Second Year B.Voc. (Advanced Diploma): Must have kept terms of First Year B.Voc. and fulfill eligibility conditions.
Third Year B.Voc. (Degree): Must pass all First Year courses and satisfactorily keep terms of Second Year.
Note: Admissions will be given as per selection procedures/policies adopted by the college and in accordance with the conditions laid down by Savitribai Phule Pune University.
Examination Pattern
Pattern of Examination: Semester-based.
General education courses: Theory paper in Semesters I to VI.
Skill Component (Practical Course):Practical examination will be conducted.
Weightage of Marks:50% Internal Continuous Assessment, 50% End Semester Examination.
