Internal Complaint Committee (ICC)

CSRD-ISWR is a coeducational institution providing equal opportunities to all. Men and women work together in a congenial atmosphere. If there are complaints involving sexual harassment, the institution ensures prompt action. The ICC aims to sensitize students and staff to work diligently in preventing sexual harassment.

Why ICC?
  • Formed under POSH Act - Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace, 2013.
  • Mentioned in UGC Regulations, 2015 - 2nd May 2016.
What is ICC?

ICC is mandated to be established in all workplaces to address and redress cases of sexual harassment.

Functions of ICC
  • Prevent workplace sexual harassment.
  • Promote gender amity and prevent discrimination.
  • Conduct women's empowerment programs.
  • Foster a safe and congenial atmosphere for women.
Who can approach ICC?

Aggrieved women include:

  • Employees
  • Visitors to the workplace
  • Students

Note: Legal representatives can complain on behalf of the woman in case of incapacity or death.
