Who we are

We at _VOIS Planet with Vodafone Idea Foundation & VOIS, have initiated an integrated knowledge platform. The initiative is aimed at sharing knowledge and information on climate change and environmentally responsive behaviour. Effective instruments for mitigating environmental burdens such as afforestation, net-zero target, campaigns and awareness programmes are required to bring a change at the individual, family and community level as well which could make significant contributions to alleviating the environmental degradation challenges at the local level. This initiative is aimed at aggregating and helping co-create knowledge and information on environmentally responsive behaviours and concurrently pursuing result-oriented social media campaigns to encourage people and specifically the youth, to take proactive actions in promoting sustainable lifestyle and creating a positive impact on the environmental ecosystem in their surroundings.

Campaign

Virtual Quiz Competition

On 30th November 2023, a Virtual Quiz competition was organised in a hybrid mode across different cities of India (Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Pune, New Delhi and Hyderabad). The theme of this competition was - Climate Change and Renewable Energy. The Virtual Quiz competition was organised to raise awareness among school-going children under the age group of 9-16. About 227 children participated in this competition from 13 community learning centers and a PMC school in Pune.
